About Us
Poseidon Software Solutions Ltd.
Poseidon Software Solutions Ltd. is a small Cambridgeshire-based software development company that specialises in producing bespoke
database applications for the web and desktop computers.
Thoosa is the latest project that Poseidon Software Solutions have embarked upon and is heavily supported by a well-established local software company called Tiny It.
These companies remain independent but collaborate to provide mutual support for most of the projects that we undertake.
This allows us to use our combined skills base and keep costs to the minimum by only engaging specialist assistance, such as graphic designers when required.

A time-line chart lets you see who holds a competency.
Your compliance requirements can be set up at the touch of a button.
Thoosa provides both graphical and tabulated evidence that staff throughout your organisation have complied with statutory requirements such as Fire and First Aid training.
Thoosa lets you quickly and easily create custom reports from the comprehensive data so you can simply provide all the information the inspecting body needs.
Reduce Risk
Dynamic sliders lets you see who will be competent in the future.
Thoosa can alert you and your staff when certifications need renewing early enough to make sure you can get them retrained quickly and efficiently.
Meaning the risk of someone doing a job they aren’t qualified for is reduced or eliminated, taking that risk off your shoulders.
Cut Costs
Historic cost of training analysis.
At the touch of a button, Thoosa can maximise the training ROI by making sure the skills of your people meet those needed by your business.
Thoosa provides training cost trends shown in easy to understand ways with historical and projected costs for each need, along with the average cost of attendance.
Prioritise Training
Thoosa automatically assesses your requirements and provides a prioritised list.
In an ideal world, everybody within your organisation would receive all their required training.
However, the reality of budgets, staff availability and time constraints often prevent this ideal from being achieved. So how do you decide who should be trained?
In small organisations, setting training priorities may be fairly easy to achieve but when this is a large organisation, it becomes very difficult.
Thoosa’s unique algorithms automatically examine your forthcoming training requirements and dynamically provide you with a prioritised
list of staff within your organisation that it would be most advisable to train first.
Assemble Teams
Dynamically build teams that will be fully competent.
Thoosa’s unique algorithms offer you an optimised list of staff that collectively, hold all the competencies required to undertake specific pieces of work.
You can flexibly and easily assemble teams for each project, making them as big or as small as you want,
for as long as you want, and Thoosa will make sure those people are right for the job, for as long as it takes.
Forecast Budgets
Identify the cost of training at the team level.
Thoosa identifies the training costs for each skill, sums them up and shows you the total cost for each competency, team and the business.
Based upon your business needs, Thoosa can project the budget you need to meet your skills and training requirements.
Graphical representations are provided for each competency which identify the historic training costs along with the average cost of attendance.
Rapid Onboarding
Thoosa Staff Onboarding.
Unfortunately, there is no magic wand that can miraculously gather all the data required to initially populate any competency management system.
However, based upon the experience we gained from our existing customers who were faced with this issue,
we have developed an embedded onboarding system that reduces the managerial effort to an absolute minimum.
Assess Training Impact
Training Impact
If a member of staff leaves your organisation, Thoosa will identify any competency gaps or skills shortages that might need to be resolved.
It maybe that you already have the resources within the organisation, in which case, Thoosa will identify who could potentially fill the gap.
